Got my copy of Going Underground in the mail yesterday. Lots of my photos are in it (including the cover), and he even spelled my name right in the credits, a rare feat. I've been corresponding with the author for several years now... it's cool to finally see the book in print.
Scotty and I went to see Viva Les Amis last night at Alamo Drafthouse (downtown) last night. What a treat to see rare, live footage of Big Boys, Butthole Surfers, Circle Jerks, and others (shows I was at back in the 80s). This movie depicts an Austin that was a lot weirder than the one those "Keep Austin Weird" bumper stickers refer to. (The crass, commercial ones, not the original [Read all about it]).
