We Are Time

From Y, a flawless example of Dennis Bovell's dub as applied to The Pop Group. We Are Time. (Check out the Peel session version on the bootleg page.)
And just for a change of pace, not really fitting in the 'offspring' category, but almost, is Mark Springer. Springer shows up on We Are Time, so he'll do. He was also in Rip Rig and Panic. Here are two short songs from his solo LP, Piano. Live Embers Disperse and So To Say.
Thanks, Sheldon, for the songs.

Hi, just to say thanks for the opportunity to listen to more Pop Group tracks. The Cd's are so hard to find and the Japanese versions so costly. Don't know why Rough Trade didn't reissue them.
had this album for a few years then it disappeared like all good ones do. you look in your collection and find best of the eagles...but where the hell is that mark springer....anyway great to hear it all again and relive the chaos of those times
Sukia sampled "We Are Time" on one of the songs on the crazy, crazy album Contacto Espacial con el Tercer Sexo. I can upload for you if you don't have the album.
one of my all time favourites over 25 years.
I tried to cover it back in the days of 1981, but I failed all over the place (I didn't know how to operate anything of instrument: http://hirschrecords.de/html/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=getit&lid=16
